CMX Notebook Parts ships via UPS, USPS Priority Mail and Fedex
for domestic orders. International orders are shipped via USPS Express Mail International.
We may occasionally substitute a shipping carrier
in cases when we feel we can get your package to you sooner
than the method chosen during checkout. This is generally
based on your geographic location relative to the shipping warehouse.
Most orders are shipped the same day or on the next business day, Monday-Friday.
Others will be shipped within 24-48 hours from the time of
purchase, excluding weekends and holidays.
All shipping calculations are based on a minimum 1
pound package. When ordering small, lightweight parts like DC power
jacks, capacitors, etc., it is better to buy in quantity. The
calculated shipping charges will barely change whether you order 1
piece or 50 pieces.
Estimated delivery times for standard UPS Ground shipping are
as follows (expedited shipping is also available):
Returns are accepted within 30 days from date of purchase.  ***See
exceptions below. Original
shipping is non-refundable.
a Return: Requires a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) number obtained by filling out the form located at http://www.cmxnotebookparts.com/rma
RMA number must be on the shipping label, not on item packaging.
Returns without valid RMA numbers will be discarded. Returns must be
shipped and insured with tracking within 5 days after an RMA number is
assigned. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges and loss
or damage of return shipments.
The following items cannot be returned, for any reason. Any
issues with these items must be handled directly through the
- consumables (toner, print cartridges, batteries, paper,
office supplies, etc.)
- video games
- video displays
- computer memory
- computer hard drives
- internal computer parts (motherboards, cpu, video card, etc.)
Shipments: Orders cannot be canceled after
entering the shipping process. Refused shipments are subject to a 20%
restocking fee, plus original shipping costs.
in Transit: Retain all packaging for inspection.
Reporting of damaged packages must occur within 24 hours of delivery to
have a valid claim.
Products: Defective item claims must first be placed with
the manufacturer. A manufacturer's claim number is required if
for all defective returns. Defective items other than those mentioned
in "Excluded Items" may be returned for refund or exchange. Exchanges
are processed only for the same item. Original and return shipping are
non-refundable. You will not be charged additional shipping
for the replacement.
Returns/Buyer's Remorse: Products with all
original contents/packaging that can be resold as new are subject to a
20% restocking fee, if the reason for return is determined to be valid. Opened items that cannot be resold as new for any
reason will be discarded and no refund given. Returns missing content are
subject to the cost of item replacement and a 30% restocking fee. Some items
cannot be returned and/or must have pre-approval from the manufacturer.
